ArtFilmDesign #9 - December 6, 2005
December 6th, 2005
Guest interviewer Alice Apley talks with photographer Lou Jones about his six-year personal project working with Lorie Savel interviewing and photographing the men and women on death rows in the United States. In 2002, the American Friends Service Committee published Final Exposure: Portraits from Death Row, an expanded second edition of the book that grew out of the project. The exhibit debuted at Boston's National Center of Afro-American Artists in 2003 and has travelled to other museums around the country. The exhibit is currently at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery through December 23, 2005.
For our listeners who live in the Boston area, we suggest loading the interview onto your iPod (or other portable media player), visiting the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery, and listening to the interview among the photographs.

Wow! I walked into the audio playing off a friend's laptop and thought Lou was on NPR. The quality and dialogue is amazing. Good Work!
