Colin Owens and David Tames talk with artists Anna Shapiro and Davyde X about The Displacement Boxes, performance work that was part of the ProvFlux Conference in Providence, Rhode Island and also performed in Rio de Janeiro hosted by the Centro Coreográfico do Rio (Rio Choreographic Center). The work, based on the myth of Sisyphus, entails Anna dragging mylar covered boxes through several outdoor locations and Davyde's documentation of the performance using both video and photography.
